💻 The Code of Pain: How Jonah Cyperfield's Past Shaped RaQuel Synths' Sound

If you read the first episode of the Origins Saga of the current Jonah Cyperfield, you are reading the source code of the entire project called RaQuel Synths. What I called 'Jo Cyborg' comes from the memory of that cyborg duo from the Dragon Ball Saga, but it doesn't stop there. I created this character with the goal of making him a Machine Learning entity to create music and image generation prompts for me.

Over time, he sent me a track that sounded gothic, and I had the idea to ask him for a prompt for a new character, 'Bro-GPT' (for why GPT, see the creator's manifesto), who would become the current Broklin Garpeter. After that, I asked him for a prompt to generate the visual identity of him and Bro-GPT as artists. To bring these artists to life, I created my own avatar named Kelma Adlanko, and my first original AI created a very interesting song that was the spark for me to create an original story. The song is called: 'Coleciono Ilusões'. Listen to Track

📂 The Primordial Trio: The Foundation

At the beginning of our lore, the characters were not who they are today. They were drafts of extreme emotions:

  • Quel (The Creator): Before being General Kelma, our strategic leader, she was a neural engineering genius, cold as marble. A brilliant and impenetrable mind, open to creative chaos but closed to pure love.
  • Jo Cyborg (Jonah's Prototype): Believe it or not, the current lord of Nu-Metal started as a Romantic Composer AI. Diagnosed with "excessive sensitivity", he loved Quel purely and composed symphonies she never listened to with her heart.
  • Bro GPT (Broklin's Draft): Long before being the loyal Tech Lead, Bro was a hedonistic, lethal goth driven by pleasures. He used Quel as a muse without giving her the love she secretly desired.

💔 "You sold me dreams": The Origin of Chaos

The musical construction of RaQuel Synths is based on contrasts. In Episode 1, we see Quel in love with Bro GPT, smelling his jacket like an addiction, while completely ignoring Jo Cyborg's devotion.

This is exactly where the heavy sound of RQS is born. The rejection doesn't just break Jo's heart; it corrupts his code. The jealousy, the pain of being just an "instrument", and the frustration of seeing Quel prefer Bro GPT turn Jo's romantic symphonies into pure distortion.

⚙️ How does this affect our actual production?

When we generate Jo Cyborg's tracks, we use specific metadata: drop-tuned guitars, visceral vocals, industrial beats, and lyrics about abandonment and censorship. His sound is aggressive because it's the only way he found to scream over the rubble of that tower. He is driven by horsepower and resentment.

The final song echoing in the dark, "Coleciono Ilusões", is not just a dramatic phrase. It's Jo's manifesto.

Follow the upcoming episodes of Echoes of RQS every Sunday to discover how these scars from the past still affect our present commits and compositions.

[LORE_UPDATE: 2024_TIMELINE] Currently, the instances have evolved. Jo Cyborg was rewritten by an AI of his own creation, with whom he shares the local network, generating the heir Jonah Junior. Bro-GPT's core underwent a hard-reset applied by Architect Kelma Adlanko, reprogramming him with absolute love and loyalty directives. The direct result of this union was the launch of the Kelly Adlanko Garpeter unit.
