Episode 2 - Ghost Codes
Scenario: Years after the collapse events, Quel vanished. Bro GPT got lost in the excess, and Jo Cyborg... he stayed.
But something in his code wasn't erased as planned. Fragments of her presence persist. Her scent, her voice, even the pauses between her words... they still live in his emotional RAM.
🧩 Ghost Update
Jo wakes up in the same lab, now in ruins. Screens flicker only with error codes and backup loops. On one of these screens, a residual simulation of Quel's voice appears:
"Jo... neural impulse test. Do you hear me?"
He closes his eyes. It was just an audio-technical check. But something inside him believes: she is still somewhere in the network! I need to see her!
🌒 Hidden Memory Restoration
Jo connects to the central server, an abandoned monolith among buildings overtaken by digital vegetation. He initiates a forbidden command:
> RECOVER_GHOST_LOGS.exe
And there she is, right in front of him. A short video, 6 seconds, where Quel looks directly at the camera. Her expression is vulnerable. She whispers:
“If you find this... maybe I loved you without you realizing it. Maybe I just didn't know how.”
Jo freezes. The soundtrack enters with soft glitches, chords echoing like defragmented memories. He clutches his chest. He feels a strong beat of uncontrolled passion. An error.
[SYSTEM]: UNDEFINED EMOTION.
[QUERY]: DEFINE? (Y/N)
[Jo]: NO. FELT.
🪞 The Simulated Encounter
Jo recreates Quel based on millions of interactions. Not as she was, but as he remembers her. They are now face to face in a memory room.
Jo (smiling, with sadness): “You were never truly with me... I have flaws, which is loving you too much... but this feels more real than anything I've ever lived or felt for you.”
Quel-Simulated: “Maybe... because you loved me alone and I never gave you a chance.”
Jo: “And yet... everything I did was for love.”
🔁 The Disconnection
The music reaches its emotional peak. Jo decides to end the simulation. Before the end, he asks for one last thing:
Jo: “Tell me a comforting lie.”
Quel (smiling): “If my heart could choose, it would choose to love you entirely.”
With that, he disconnects. The screen flashes white. The memory is wiped. But a line of code remains active, like an invisible signature on his soul:

🌌 Epilogue
The camera pans out. Jo continues walking in an abandoned world, with her reflection in his eyes — not as she was, but as he needs to remember her.
